Why exhibit?

Over 5000 babies were born in Devon last year. Exhibiting at the Little Monster Baby & Toddler Show in Exeter is an extremely cost effective method of reaching your target market. For less than the cost of a small advertisement in a national magazine you can speak directly to your target audience and showcase your products and services. It’s a great opportunity to increase your brand’s awareness, market your products/services face to face and drive direct sales. Plus, create new customer leads for future business, conduct market research and make new business contacts.

We are providing free balloon modelling and face painting for pre-school children at the show. We hope this will encourage a high footfall and inrease the time people spend at the show.

Venue

Exeter Race Course is situated at the top of Haldon Hill, alongside the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Road. It’s a well known and versatile venue with ample parking.

The show will take place in the Best Mate Room, the Best Mate Foyer and the Romany King room in the Haldon stand, and the Brockman Hall in the Brockman stand. The Brockman Hall is currently being extended and refurbished ready for the beginning of the racing season in October 2007. Until the work is complete we are unable to supply a stand plan for this room.

All the rooms we are using are on the ground floor. There will be a café serving light refreshments in the Romany King Room, and part of the Romany King room will also be used for demonstrations throughout the day.

Exhibition stands & sponsorship

Regular stands are £140. The price includes: 

• 6ft table, tablecloth and two chairs
• Half price insertion of leaflets/samples into 500 goody bags
• Insertion of business logo and brief description (maximum 40 words) on Little Monster website until February 28th 2008.
• Four free tickets
• The stand sizes vary slightly in size. Most are 2.5m wide x 2m deep. If you have specific requirements please contact Little Monster, who will be able to recommend which stand best meets your requirements.

• Power is available at an additional cost of £20.
• Wireless internet access is available.

Show sponsorship - £400

• Two adjacent regular stands with power if required
• Logo/name on 20,000 marketing leaflets
• Logo & recognition on front page of show website
• 10 free tickets
• Your leaflet inserted in the goody bags
• Your banner displayed outside the entrance to the venue
• Your banner displayed in the foyer

The exhibition is open plan with no partitions between stands. Exhibitors are welcome to bring their own display panels and equipment.

Goody bags

The first 500 visitors will receive a goody bag (one per family) containing relevant and useful information and product samples. The cost of inserting your item in the goody bags is £20 for exhibitors and £40 for non-exhibitors.

Marketing

Leaflets
20,000 leaflets will be distributed to:

• Shops, tourist information offices, attractions, indoor play centres, swimming pools, supermarkets, doctors, dentists, hospitals, chemists etc.
• NCT groups.
• Parent, baby and toddler groups, pre schools and nurseries.

Advertising

During the weeks before the show, the show will be advertised in local newspapers and magazines including full page advertisements in both Little Times and Early Times. The other publications we will use have not yet been finalised but details will be available in the Autumn. We will also be advertising on Gemini FM and Lantern FM.

PR campaign

We employ a PR agency to run our PR campaign, which will target local publications, TV and radio stations.

Exhibitors’ and sponsors’ promotion

Exhibitors and sponsors are encouraged to promote the show using their own customer databases and other available channels. The show’s logo can be supplied on request and leaflets are available for distribution.
